Common questions
Should a martial arts club buy a package or have software built?
Systems like Zen Planner or Kicksite work if your club fits their setup and you are happy with their pricing. Building your own makes sense when your gradings, belt ranks or the mix of adult and kids classes do not fit their mould, or you are running registers, payments and parent messages across three different apps. We will tell you which is the better spend.
Can it track gradings, belts and attendance?
Yes. We build the belt and grading path for your style, so you can see who is ready to grade and record results against each student. Class registers can be taken on a phone at the door, which keeps attendance and eligibility accurate without paper.
Will it handle recurring memberships and payments?
Yes. It takes monthly memberships by direct debit or card, handles family and multi-class rates, and shows you clearly who has paid and who is behind. Chasing late payments can happen automatically, so you are not doing it on a Sunday night.
Can parents book classes and get updates?
We can give parents their own login to book their child in, see gradings and get messages about classes or events. Waivers and medical notes are captured at sign-up and kept on file, which saves you fielding the same questions over WhatsApp every week.
How much does it cost and how long to set up?
We build in stages, so there is no big bill on day one. It is from £150 a month, or a one-off build you own outright, with a fixed price after a short call. A first working version, usually registers and payments, is live in weeks, then we add gradings and parent access around your timetable.
Can it replace what we use now?
In most cases yes, and we will bring your member list and payment details across carefully. If one tool you use works well, we keep it and join it up rather than force a switch. The aim is one place for members, registers, gradings and money.
