How the move works
We look at what you have now
Tell us your web address and where it is hosted. If you are not sure who holds what, that is fine, because we can usually work it out from the address.
You send the logins securely
We send you a private link to our secure logins form, so nothing goes by email and each link only works once.
We copy the site and test it
We bring your files and database across to our servers and check the copy page by page before anything changes for your visitors.
We switch over at a quiet time
Your old site stays up until the new one is ready. We then point your domain at our servers through Cloudflare, usually out of hours, so customers never see a gap.
We deal with the old host
We handle the domain transfer and the back and forth with your old provider. Once we have checked everything works, you cancel the old plan.
Need your email moved too?
If your mailboxes are with the same old host, we can move them as well. We copy each mailbox and its old messages across and set up the records that keep mail arriving and out of the spam folder. Just mention it when you get in touch.

Common questions
Will my website go down during the move?
No. Your current site keeps running until the copy on our servers has been checked, and the switch happens at a quiet time.
Do I have to deal with my old host?
Hardly at all. We handle the transfer and the contact with them. You might need to approve a request or confirm who you are, and we will tell you exactly what to do.
What if my site cannot move as it is?
Most websites move across without any changes. Some are built on an agency’s own platform that they will not hand over, and those cannot simply be copied. If that is your situation, we will tell you before you commit to anything and talk you through the options, including a rebuild.
