Musselburgh Loop activity finder website by SYNF

Musselburgh Loop helps young people find things to do near home. It links kids and teens with local clubs, groups, schools and volunteers. The aim is simple: a team or a class for every young person who wants one.

There are lots of clubs for young people across East Lothian. Musselburgh Loop wanted one place where families could see them all, and asked us to build it.

The homepage is an activity finder. A parent or a teenager can search by age, type of activity, area and day. They can tick Free only, or pick dates. Each result shows when and where it runs, the ages it suits, the price and how to get in touch.

The finder lists more than 100 activities, from cadets and dance to football, STEM and watersports. It covers Musselburgh and the towns around it, out to Haddington, North Berwick, Leith and Edinburgh. Labels like Free, Great for Teens and Verified help families pick fast.

Some young people are not sure what they want to try. Guide pages explain each kind of activity, and a Not Sure? page helps them pick by what sounds like them. A Progression Pathways page shows how they can move up through a club as they grow, for example from Beavers to Explorers.

We also built a simple admin area for the team. They add, change and remove activities themselves. They keep the lists of types and areas up to date. They can even load a batch of activities from a spreadsheet, so the listings stay fresh without waiting on us.

We host the site and look after it every month. That keeps it fast, safe and ready for the families who use it.
