Logistics runs on more paper than most people think. Drivers fill in walk-round checks on a clipboard and carry delivery notes in the cab. At the end of each shift, someone in the office types it all up again. If a sheet goes missing, so does your proof.

We build software for firms that move goods. That means couriers, hauliers, delivery firms and removals firms. Drivers use an app on their phone, and the office sees each run as it happens. Every check, drop and defect is saved with a time and a photo, so you can prove it later.

How we help

A driver app that does the paperwork

Walk-round checks, load checks, drops, collections and defect reports all happen on the driver’s phone. Nothing gets filled in twice or left in the cab.

Live runs for the office

See where each run is up to without phoning the driver. Spot a late drop early and tell the customer before they chase you.

Proof of delivery on tap

Every drop is saved with a time, a signature or a photo. When a customer says it never arrived, you can show them in seconds.

A quicker end to the shift

The day’s records are already saved when the driver gets back. The debrief is a quick check, not an hour of typing.

Proof, not promises

We have done this before. For Long Lane Deliveries, a Scottish food-logistics firm, we put a driver’s whole shift on one app. It covers the walk-round, load checks, drops, pick-ups and defect reports. It runs right through to the debrief at the end of the day. The debrief used to take about 45 minutes, and now it takes six. We start with how your runs work today, then build the system around that.

Common questions

Should we buy fleet or delivery software, or have it built?

Ready-made fleet and delivery apps suit firms whose work fits their mould, and they charge per driver every month. A bespoke system makes sense when your runs, checks or customers work in your own way, or when you are joining tools up by hand. After a short call we will tell you which suits you.

Will the driver app work with poor signal?

Yes. Drivers can keep working when the signal drops, and the app sends everything once they are back in range.

Can it do vehicle walk-round and defect checks?

Yes. Drivers do the check on their phone and add photos of any damage. The office hears straight away about anything that needs fixing.

Can our customers see proof of delivery?

Yes, if you want them to. We can send a delivery note with the time and a photo, or give your customers their own login.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

We build in stages, so there is no big bill up front. You get a fixed price after a short call. A first working version is usually live in weeks, then we add to it while your team uses it.

Do you work with removals and courier firms too?

Yes. The same ideas work for any firm that sends people and vans out on jobs: a clear plan for the day, simple checks on a phone and a record the office can trust.
